This course is designed as a carousel allowing the learner to experience and trial 3 different specialisms; Cookery, Textiles and Mixed Media.

The course has been designed with the KS3 national curriculum in DT in mind, and in order to guide the learner through the design process and in order to start building a creative portfolio.

The course is designed to be completed over the course of a year and is payable in 12 monthly instalments of £20.

There is no minimum or maximum age requirement for this course but as a guidance we suggest 10+.

As a guide, the content of the course is designed to provide approximately 1.5 hours of content per week, term time. However, due to the design of the course, there is complete flexibility about when you complete the tasks and learners can take longer to complete the course than the suggested year if necessary.

The entire course covers all three Entry Level Qualifications and successful completion will result in the learner receiving 3 NCFE qualifications (Entry Level 1, 2 and 3).

What happens next? Your 1st payment will be 1st August. After which you will receive an Induction Pack by post (with a free Technology Triumphs apron).

Our academic year starts Monday 4th September, so while you may have access to the course content before then, online support will not be available until this date. The course is provided in the form of fillable pdf workbooks with pre filmed tutorials - allowing for flexibility on how and when you complete the work.

An assigned assessor will provide written feedback on the successful completion of each workbook and at the successful completion of the course, the learner will receive three separate qualifications: NCFE Entry Level Award in Creative Craft entry 1, 2 and 3

(Please note, as this is a relatively new offering, we do not yet hold Direct Claim Status on this qualification, so if completing in between our moderations, there may be a delay in receiving certification after completion).

As with all of our subscription courses, the learner is not obligated to complete in full and the payment plan can be cancelled at any point with 3 working days notice before payment date. We cannot offer refunds on retrospective months.

Due to the payment structure, it will be necessary for the learner to complete the course in full before the Certificates can be claimed.
Next steps for the learner could be a Level 1 Award in Creative Craft within any of the specialisms.
